Paola Nuovo Gómez

Born in Colombia, she lived in several countries, absorbing from each one of these tones, flavours and colours that then spill over into her work, that tireless research into the interplay of textures and shapes, which merge with fire and time.

She graduated in Design from the Universidad Católica Nuestra Señora de la Asunción (Asunción, Paraguay), where she was a teacher of Design Research and Design Process for 15 years. She also graduated as Higher Technician for Sustainability, Development, Design of the Ceramic Product for Fondazione Istituto Tecnico Superiore Tecnologie e Industrie Creative in Faenza

She works independently as a ceramist, developing research within the handicraft production process, using processes in a sustainable way, develops individual courses and workshops, collaborates with artists and artisans in the management of production processes internationally, especially with artisans in Chile and Paraguay.

She currently works and gives courses in Studio Lemure, Faenza.
