Argillà Italia

First weekend in September, every two years

Argillà Italia is the International Ceramics Festival and Market Exhibition held every two years in Faenza on the first weekend of September. The city of Faenza welcomes ceramists, artists and professionals on this occasion for the long weekend dedicated to ceramics.

Argillà Italia offers to visitors a pleasant stroll through the historic center of Faenza, among the stands of the international exhibitors presenting their best production of art and craft ceramics, ranging from art, sculpture, design, home accessories and fashion accessories.

Alongside the market exhibition, there are also numerous cultural events that make up the festival dimension, including the Mondial Tornianti (historic international lathe competition), exhibitions, spectacular nightly kiln firings in the open air, concerts, children’s ceramic activities, workshops and lectures.

Since the first edition in 2008, Argillà Italia, organised by MIC Faenza on behalf of the Municipality of Faenza and in collaboration with the Municipality itself, AiCC – Italian Association of Ceramic Cities and Ente Ceramica Faenza, has become the reference appointment in Italy and worldwide for contemporary ceramic craftsmanship.
