Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna in Faenza

Two teaching buildings of the University of Bologna are located in the city of Faenza:

• Science division – at the Torricelli Science and Technology Park:

First Cycle Degree/Bachelor in Chemistry and Technologies for the Environment and Materials: this special curriculum sets out to train graduates to work in industrial chemistry at large, and especially in industries producing, processing or exploiting materials such metals, polymers, ceramics and composites. With such expertise graduates may also work in monitoring and technological development laboratories.

I Level Master Programme in Composite Materials: this course aims to create a new professional figure of materials technologist with specific skills in the chemistry and engineering of compositesr. The project also benefits from the teaching support of experts from outside the university, and is supported by numerous companies in the sector. This Master programme aims to make Faenza a centre of excellence in the composite materials sector, further linking the territory’s advanced production reality to academic training.
