After graduating from Fine Arts Academy, Santa Fe, Argentina in 1997, Ana Cecilia Hillar graduated in Archaeological ceramic restoration from Istituto d’Arte per la Ceramica “G. Ballardini” in Faenza in 2001.
She was first revealed to the international ceramic critics as the winner of the Premio Faenza in the 52nd edition of the International Competition of Ceramic Art in 2001, with the installation entitled “Sombra del Viento”.
She organized several personal and collective exhibitions in Italy and abroad. In 2003 she had her personal exhibition “Humano” at the Museo Internazionale delle Ceramiche in Faenza.
Currently she lives and works in Faenza.
