La Vecchia Faenza was established in 1967 and dedicates its production to ceramics decorated in classic Faenza styles.
The workshop proposes the Faenza tradition through its numerous decorations, which have come down to us from the various periods of flourishing Faenza ceramics, respecting the technique of brush-painted majolica.
In 2004, ‘La Vecchia Faenza’ joined Laura Silvagni’s workshop. Laura Silvagni, also a ceramist since 1977, has a particular flair for painting and colour. In fact, she specialises in ‘Raffaellesco’ decoration in Faenza, a decorative style closer to painting that includes elements inspired by Raffaello Sanzio.
At La Vecchia Faenza you will find ornamental objects for the home, gift items, small and large ceramics, customisable on request.
