Ceramiche Lega

The history of Ceramiche Lega began in 1950, when Leandro Lega created the well-known artistic signature.

In the years that followed, Carla Lega, an atypical ceramist on the Faenza scene, carried on her father’s activity, inserting herself in the Faenza tradition with an absolutely modern and autonomous language, enlivened by the use of reduction lustre.

Year after year, the Ceramiche Lega workshop continues above all the search for new and lively forms. Today, the family tradition is carried on by Martina, who collaborates fully with her mother Carla, keeping up the value of the workshop.

Alongside the workshop, the Museo Lega was also set up, an exhibition space that promotes awareness of the name and figure of Leandro Lega, with the dissemination of his work, in his multifaceted activity as an artist and animator of cultural proposals (visits by appointment only)
