Fiorenza Pancino was born in Veneto, but has lived and worked in Faenza for over 20 years. She loves ceramics, but also uses other mediums for her artistic research, including photography, video and materials such as paper and fabric.
In 2011 she was awarded an honourable mention at the International Gyeonggi Ceramic Biennale in Icheon, South Korea, while in 2015 she participated in the ‘Ceramica Viva’ collective exhibition at the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rome.
In 2017, she won the C. Casali jury prize at the International Ceramic Competition in Mino, Japan and several national prizes. Recent projects include artist residencies at the Jingdezhen International Studio Artist in China and at Ceratekno in Toki, Japan.
