Martha Pachon Rodriguez started making ceramics in the late 1980s. Graduated in Fine Arts in Colombia and with a Specialisation in Stoneware and Porcelain from the Istituto d’Arte per la Ceramica “G. Ballardini” in Faenza, Martha is a multifaceted artist in the world of ceramics.
She has developed various projects in sculpture, architecture, large-scale installations and a series of porcelain jewellery.
Throughout her career, she has received First Prize at International Ceramic Competitions in Belgium, Spain, Italy, Colombia, China and Third Prize twice at MINO in Japan. She has participated in artistic residencies including at the Shigaraki Ceramic Park in Japan and the Fule International Ceramic Project in China.
