Paola Laghi was born in Faenza and her studies brought her closer to the world of restoration of both ceramic and wooden artifacts and to the field of gilding and papier mache.
Always attracted by sign and colour, she acts between ceramic sculptures, installations and illustrated pottery.
She works with contemporary artistic ceramics using two different registers, diametrically opposed: sculptural and material the one, graphic and essential in form the other. She also works on restoration in her workshop.
