Susanna Vassura

Susanna Vassura was born in Faenza, where she graduated from the Istituto d’Arte per la Ceramica “G. Ballardini”, before continuing her studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna.
Susanna’s production is distinguished by her evocative and fascinating works, which have won awards both in Italy and abroad.

The figures she creates, bearded fauns or dreamlike women, are light and delicate, a crossroads of distant worlds but merged in a flowing present, like the inner, mysterious world of ceramics.
